  1. I completed many things last night that I've been meaning to finish for a while:

    A) Got the last 1410 rep needed to become Exalted with Zandalar Tribe. Got a sweet neckpiece, too.

    B) Finished collecting the last bit of materials I needed to get to 300 jewelcrafting. It's a long list (and expensive too).

    C) Cleaned out the junk on my characters so I'd have space for all the cool new stuff in the expansion.

    D) Got my 3rd PvP item on my druid so he runs faster in cat form :)

    E) Leveled my Fishing skill to 300. My suggestion: find someone as crazy as you if you plan to do this grind.

    F) Leveled my Cooking skill to 300 (thanks to the Spotted Yellowtail in Booty Bay).

I'm ready for the expansion. Are you?

  2. Why, yes, Eric Dude. And here's to me actually BEING at the next MAG.

    SonovaBITCH.

That's kind of funny you say that. See, DJ Moguta and I were convinced that you were there because it seems you have a lookalike that attended. I kept looking over at "you" until finally Chris and I got the courage to walk over and start a conversation. Man that guy probably wondered what the hell we were doing.

  3. I saw on the site that a a co-host had left, will he be back?

I'm not quite sure what you mean. I've had many co-hosts since I started my show, including personal friends, OCR people, and random (sometimes drunk) people walking past my room. Co-hosts make the show much more enjoyable, not just for me but also for people who can appreciate new things. :)

But to answer your question: they always come back. Always.

  4. Quick Update: VGM returns January 12th. Also, <3 CHz.

For more than two years, I've been doing a weekly radio show playing video game music from my dorm at school called VGM: Very Good Music. However, the threads I make keep getting purged because of inactivity during winter and summer breaks. Well folks, Disco Mover Guy is back again for another fun semester of (great?) radio and entertainment on Friday nights. Those familiar with the show need no introduction, but to those who haven't heard of it before, allow me to elaborate.

VGM: Very Good Music is a bootleg Shoutcast broadcast done by sum noob broke ass college student who's so lazy he's cancelled his show to play video games before. That's an exaggeration of course, and fans of the show keep me motivated to continue the show.

I'll be starting up again on January 12th for your listening enjoyment (what the hell is up with me and big words beginning with 'e' today?). All shows start at 10 PM (some people might say otherwise, but forget them ;) ) and go until whenever I run out of music. I pull tracks from many sites, including OCR, and even some places that may surprise you. Though the show is about the music (really, it is), I also play original music from remixers, do interviews, hold contests, and give news about the vg remix community.

I continue to make each semester better than the previous, so expect some new features/tricks/failures. :)

    See you on the 12th!

  5. Chalk this track up as one more under the awesome category. This is exactly what I'd want to wake up to on a lazy Saturday morning (afternoon). This track is very emotional; I can tell you poured your heart into this one, Patrick.

The 2:09 - 2:39 breakdown reminds me of a Malcos submission from Street Fighter 2 (Throw Me A Tiger Uppercut) from a while back, which I still listen to. Great work!

  6. I never thought I'd see half of a South Park episode rendered in World of Warcraft.

You can kind of tell that Blizzard had some deal with them. Of course they were probably the ones making the animations. But, Blizzard was tacked everywhere. Product placements!

    Funny though!

I have a friend who runs a guild on another server. One of his members is a GM (everyone but the officers are basically oblivious). He had "mysteriously disappeared" for about a month up until the other day. My friend asked where he had been when the guy logged on, and his response was "Filming a South Park episode."

He's apparently the guy who did all the filming for the trailer for the Silithus/EPL outdoor PvP as well as the epic Paladin/Shaman Apple switch parody.

The GM guy has a website and everything, too, so he's definately not a hack.

Back to the topic, the differences between the South Park episode and the actual game were intended, for those who were wondering. If they made everything congruent, there'd be less to talk about with your friends, right?
