I'm sorry for how blunt my critique was. There's a big difference between writing for a zine and writing here, where the artists actually read what you have to say.
As for guitars being recorded the "proper way", I am really just not a big fan of the amp sim and the sound you get out of them. I prefer the half-stack or full stack with microphones recording guitars, but I realize that isn't financially feasible for most people. At any rate, you can disregard what I said about the amp-sim tone, but I still think the song would have benefited from multiple rhythm tracks.
Looking past the tones and number of tracks though, the arrangement is very well done and the song is a good adaptation and very enjoyable.

The arrangement is very well done and creative, but this is another boxy amp-sim sound. The song would have benefited greatly from having guitars recorded the proper way. Also recording the rhythm part properly. Instead of a single rhythm in the center channel, you could have doubled it and had it in stereo. It's strange listening to a rock song with one guitar track in the center; it has a weird mono effect. The leads are panned hard left and right and do mask this flaw a little bit.
It's a good arrangement, but has guitar production issues.

I remember always thinking the girl dog in "Lady and the Tramp" was the tramp. I was a kid back then. But for some reason I knew what tramp meant. And that female dog was it. But then I pondered why they would name the boy dog "Lady".
Eh, it's still a little confusing to this day.

You ruined FFVII and now this??.. how dare you even touch such a great soundtrack like that? it's one of the best soundtracks by Mitsuda.. you just ruined it with your lame originality.. why can't you make the recognizable remix?? don't try to be original by adding non-fitting chords or any bad sample choices.. please stop doing it!!!!!
I'm sorry, it was my first actual remix and I didn't know what I was doing and I didn't put nearly enough time into it... Sorry avaris. I'd remake the song if it would make any difference at all today.
I still don't completely understand why you included it with the production issues being so bad (something that everyone always points out so it's pretty common knowledge at this point)

Nightmare Before Christmas teaches that you should never try anything new or attempt anything beyond your satatus or caste, because you will make everyone sad and screw it all up anyway.
But then, it's a Tim Burton movie, so maybe that really IS the message he wanted to convey.

Any thoughts on Battlefield 1943? The discount is nice, (560 pts instead of 1200) but I worry that it'll get old fast, or nobody will be online.
I dunno but I'll get it for that price and if you do too, then we can play together if nothing else.

Today is Castle Crashers for 560 Points. If you don't get it, you hate fun.
I already bought Castle Crashers like a year ago for $15 on amazon.

Yeaaaah... the deal today was so horrid I didn't even bother to come update it until what it is now, almost 3am. If you 'really' want it I bet it's still up. They don't change it on the eastern time zone.
But yeah, Batman Returns rent for 80MSP? What kind of sick, twisted, demented gift is that for #3? There's 3 days left and they give us Batman Returns.

Last year's winter theme was the best. The new years theme is pretty crap. It is way too busy and actually somewhat ugly too. The 2008 winter theme is just sooo nice. I'm actually thinking of switching back.

I hope you all like my song and have a great Christmas. It's just going to be the 1 song unless somehow I finish another song early on the 23rd and send it in, which is doubtful. It's probably best to have as little amount of me on it that it has though.
