Honestly one of my favorite remixes. One thing I noticed a while back (a very long way back now, I guess) is that it sounds like someone might have copied this song to an extent that it almost sounds the same. I know that they are remixes of the same source material, but the similarities seen too close. I know Hugo's version released back in March of '12, but in December of the same year this version (https://youtu.be/Xjqr0BHMx7g) by Japanese group 'Rock-Men' came out and it practically sounds like a straight copy. Maybe it's just a coincidence, I dunno. Still prefer Doc's version by a lot.

Incredible remix. I really love Fredrik's style in both this and his Mega Man remix. Can't wait to hear more from him.

Personally, I love this remix. It could be that's it's because I'm a huge Gundam fan or that it was one of the first remixes to really catch my ear when it randomly popped on ORmgas back in the day (to age me a bit), but it's mostly because this song just really gets me pumped. If you still feel so bad about it, why don't you do a Version 2 or something. I don't know anything about sound mixing software or anything like that, but maybe that's a good thing. I can just enjoy it for what it is.
