  1. Hi everyone! Happy New Year! Here's the newest arrangement I've uploaded to YouTube, it's a slightly developed and re-orchestrated arrangement of the Staff Roll from The Legend of Zelda - Skyward Sword Enjoy!
  2. Hi everybody! I thought I'd share an original composition here for once. Every year, I write a Festive/Christmas piece, and this year, I chose the verse-and-refrain poem Benedicamus Domino by Rev. Charles Lewis Hutchins, and by paying attention to the text and fitting the atmosphere of the piece with the poem, I was quite pleased with the results. Christmas Carols have always been a favourite part of Christmas to me, and I love the sound of a Church or Cathedral Choir singing a familiar or new piece; Festive Carols are something I love and a new composition that other groups and Choirs could sing is something I put my hand to every year. Enjoy!
  3. Hi everyone! Here's the newest arrangement - a Piano version of TEC's Waltz from Paper Mario - Thousand Year Door! It's the part where TEC, the computer, creates a clone of Peach for Peach to dance with, in an attempt to dance with Peach. The music has a melancholy atmosphere which I feel reflects TEC's unrequited desire to dance with Peach literally, and I wanted to capture that forlornness in a Chopinesque-style Waltz, modelled loosely on his Nocturne in E flat, Op.9, no.2.
  4. Hi everyone! Here's the newest arrangement - Hyrule Castle from Breath of the Wild, with some other familiar Zelda melodies associated with it thrown in. Enjoy!
  5. Which DAW would you reccommend?? I've been told Cubase, but would it work with something like Albion One or EastWest??
  6. I use NotePerformer, and then put it through the equalizer and reverb functions to make it sound more realistic. What's Albion One?
  7. Hi everyone! Here's a video of my newest arrangement: Waltz for the Moon from Final Fantasy VIII. A variant on the song "Eyes On Me", I thought this was a fantastic transformative piece to develop and turn into a Waltz! Enjoy!
  8. Hi everyone! Sorry for the hiatus, lots of things going on over here. Here's a video of my newest arrangement: One Winged Angel from Final Fantasy VII. It being FF7's 25th Anniversary, I thought it'd be a cool idea to make an arrangement of this killer piece!
  9. Hi everyone! A Kickstarter has been successfully made to help back a project that'd being made, an extended opera Scene from Final Fantasy 6. Please check it out, share and back it if you like it!! Kickstarter for Final Fantasy VI Opera Scene
  10. Hey everybody! I'm planning on making a Kickstarter for my Final Fantasy 6 project and was curious if anyone here has used Kickstarter? If so, can you please get in touch as I'd like to share with you a draft for the Kickstarter plan to see if anyone thinks it can be improved or changed for the better? Thanks!
  11. Question: I've just found a video on YouTube is of one of my arrangements, that another person has uploaded. I have not been credited, so it seems like this person is trying to pass my arrangement off as their own. I'm not sure if I should first ask the person to at least credit me as the original writer of the piece, or to report the video? I will include the two videos here for comparison: mine - www.youtube.com/watch?v=z-IXHhUGcD8 the other person's upload - www.youtube.com/watch?v=jPcevqjC_Ww
  12. Hey everyone! I'm going to be working on a developed version of the FF6 Opera Scene "Maria and Draco". I'm getting singers to record themselves playing, but here's a short promo vid of the piece!!
  13. Hi everybody! Here is a new arrangement of some Undertale themes woven together to create an Orchestral Rhapsody!
  14. Hi everybody, I'm curious to get some thoughts on a plan I have: I want to make an extended version of the FF6 Opera Scene. I know there's about 4 or 5 different versions of the text, but there's also non-spoken dialogue in the Scene which isn't sung, but I was considering including this as sung dialogue, or maybe even playing two different versions together to "flesh out" sections. For example: The First Scene, when Draco sings: "Oh Maria, Oh Maria, Though I call you from afar, Will this message reach your Heart? Oh how I long to be with you!" I was thinking of including immediately after it another version, which reads: "Oh Maria, Oh Maria, My beloved, do you hear My words whispered in your ear As if I were by your side?" I was curious if this may be a well-received idea, or if most people may just prefer the original length and just one version of the libretto??
