That's what's so cool about remixing! There endless possibilities to every tune, it's so exciting right? Cheers!

Solid, very clean. New bass parts work well. Nice prominent drumming.
A few minor gripes: 0:46 the ride/hat there is very similar in velocity with each hit, feels mechanical. Also stands out a lot in the mix, you could just take a little of the brightness away with some EQ on the top end (but not a deal breaker for me). Double pedal is very clean and love to hear it.
I'd change this to done, but I'd leave that up to you on making any changes with the hats/cymbols.
Nice work.
Thanks for the input! Will definitely consider making some changes to the drum sound overall! Glad you liked it

my first impulse really is that this level of intensity would work better at a later point in the arrangement, to top it off and raise it to another level. it all sounds quite good, make no mistake, but i think it's too much, too early, for this theme.
i like the dynamic arrangement. it's quite lively. a lot of good stuff here. but i'd really prefer a more gradual buildup as sonic intensity (and distortion) goes, for this theme.
i think 0:17+ could hit really hard somewhere in the 2:00+ area if you prefaced it with an earlier more acoustic, or just less distorted, version.
the 15 sec intro is great, btw. but the field theme in full metal armor right after that.....it's over the top in a way that's thematically jarring, to me.
maybe listen to some Gentle Giant or something for inspiration...to get some additional ideas on how to transmogrify the main theme without fully metallizing it right away.
well, just an idea.
Thanks for all the constructive criticism! I completely understand your point of view and respect your opinion
That was exactly what I was going for though, but I'm always thinking of creating different versions for the same theme, so maybe I'll try those points in another version too! Either way, really appreciated!

Hey everyone!
In this rendition I went for a kinda doo wop 50's style, drew some inspiration from Sleep Walk.

Hope you like it! Please let me know what you think, comment on the production, arrangements, etc!
Thank you

Just pure awesomeness. Love the original but love your version even more
I would say that they only thing still need a bit more work is some of the transitions that should be going smother but I know that it is one of the last thing I do before a song is finished as well and since you have posted it as a preview I am guessing this will be better before release. But overall I love the tune.
Thanks for the feedback! Glad you liked it

Hey there!
Pretty cool remix, it sounds very... Live! It's like a recording of a real live presentation. If you put some chatter and applause in the background I would totally believe it was from a concert hall or something.
Really like the choir, it really compliments the original theme.
That ending is superb, you totally nailed the orchestral feel.
Great job =D

Hey Neon X, pretty cool remix here!
I really like your synth sounds and the whole flow is pretty great. The constant change in textures and ups and downs work really well. The production also sounds very crisp and punchy.
Great solo by the way! You should be proud of that indeed!
Sounds ready to go to me! Actually I really prefer your version over the original lol
Great job =D

Hey guys!
Here's my version of Krooks March from Donkey Kong Country 2 (aka the Castle Theme from that game).

My goal was to make a metal cover of this and since the song itself is very symphonic this turned out like a mixture of Dream Theater with Iron Maiden.
Hope you like it! Please let me know what you think, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Hey guys! This is my take on the Stickerbrush Symphony theme from DKC2. I went for a Joe Satriani feel on the overall track, I hope you guys like it!

This is a really cool take on the source. And I am really digging the bass. Anyways. I think you've got a real nice progression through the piece, like light scintillating off some titular precious mineral slowly rotating with a spotlight on it. Even without radical changes to the melody and such, it's thoroughly captivating in a relaxing way. Nice work!
Thank you very much!

I really like this!
The only part I wasn't sold was on the drums, they sound too mechanical and stiff (maybe that's what you were going for, to sound like the in-game version?). I would really like to listen to a more lively and realistic drumset, the track would surely benefit from that!
Great job!

Wow this is awesome! The style suits the song perfectly.
It sounds very organic, like listening to a street band while drinking something cold and sweet!
I think it ends rather abruptly though. Maybe you could revisit the starting theme after the uptempo part?
Production-wise it sounds very good to me, everything is crystal clear.
Good job, sir! I'm going to look for some other stuff you made!

Hey guys!
I went for a 70's progressive rock vibe on the Mining Melancholy song from DKC2.
I would really appreciate some feedback on my remix! Thanks in advance!

Donkey Kong Country 2: Hot-Head Bop - lava level (prog-rock rock version)

make title more interesting
Hey everyone!
This is my version of the lava level song from Donkey Kong Country 2:
I went for an old-school, Pink Floyd-ish vibe but with a more modern production. Experimented with some synths and lush pads to put more depth to the usual rock guitar, bass and drums. I'm really happy with the results, hope you like it too! Please provide some feedback, it would be greatly appreciated!
Have a great one!
