Alright, sorry. I havent been online a lot lately. Here's the deal, I'll be gone on and off the next two weeks, so I wont really have any further progression on my WIP until July. I'll be pretty much free that entire month so I dont suppose it should take me any longer than that. Unless of course that's not okay...

There was ONE "One Winged Angel" mix on Vgmix, and it was a very mediocre hip-hop type version. There's also one cover from DOD back in February (or January, I cant remember). So yeah, there's like three arrangements of One Winged Angel in the whole remixing community. Not that any of that was relevant.

I may end up missing the deadline...I'll have a third WIP but my intention was to be near complete and I'm not quite there yet. To top that off I havent been able to get any decent string samples yet... Will I get booted off if I do miss this one? I will try to make it I just dont think I'll make enough progress by then.

I remember the day this started in March of last year. I think this is really going to be well worth the wait.

I've been looking forward to this one for awhile. I think the opening two tracks were really good considering the length of the original tracks. Stage theme wise I felt some of them came off a little slower than I expected, but I guess that's cool too. My favorites were "Thank You Dee-Jay", "Tokyo Slapdown", "Made in USA", "R U Overdrive", and "Urban Uppercut". It also took a couple songs I didnt orgianlly like (such as Ryu's stage) and made me love the newer arrangement. Overall I think the project is pretty good and I hope a lot of people like it.

To quote a phrase: "They threw in everything but the kitchen sink." In this case, they threw the sink in there as well. He (she?) would be the best character ever.

cool. I'd have to imagine though that must of been a difficult track to work with, seeing as how a whole bunch of people dropped it.

If Vigilante (vig, jesse tub or whatever it is now) is doing boss 1, then is he going to be doing vocals in that as well?

I havent worked on my WIP in awhile. I've been so busy with school and work but that will come to an end this coming week. Four of my five exams are take home and then class is pretty much over. I'll have no excuse not to be finished by the later half of may.

So this is what finally became of those Mute Fusion WIP's from vgmix. I think the last version was the third and that was in April or May of 2004 (I think). I'm glad to see it turned out so well. This is cool stuff.

just out of curosity, what's the word on the S3 Act 1 boss theme as of now? Is it still that collab?

I have my ideas down for Politcal Pressure, and I'm satisfied with my soundfonts at this point, but there are a couple key things to the rhythm that are missing at this point. None the less, I'll try to get them in this weekend so hopefully by then I'll be about halfway through.

Yes by all means, take my name off it. I really dont want to butcher that song.

And sorry for the double post, but I have some further (but lesser) bad news. I think I'll need to drop Raven, I have been working on it for too long and I honestly cannot stand any of the results I produced so far. I'd rather let somebody else who knows what there doing have it. With that though, Politcal Pressure is coming along better.

Cuz I cant buy or find it. Unless he was actually saying he was going to hook me up with the program because that certainly dosent suck. Yeah, sorry about that. I got confused.

Uh, maybe cuz some people nammed them? Oh and Rexy, that Saka... whatever Bar title doesn't fit. It doesn't feel right. No offense. Even though the title is a reference to Michael Schumacher, Formula 1 race car driver and world-renown competitor and champion? I think that the title works for a song called Competition Menu, in a mode where you race each other. That's quite the original title actually. That's pretty cool.

I'm still had it, but have had no sucess in finding any midi software I can use. At the very least I'll try to get my arrangements finished with what I got sometime next month and then just redo them elsewhere.

Better buy a 50-pack spindle. It seems like one of the toughest things will be to make sure that each track individually is worth listening to as well. I dont know about anybody else, but if it gets to the point mine are unlistenable you guys can remove me and I wont get upset. Maybe if I can find a cheap program to make midi's I can get around my crappy soundfonts... BTW, I think I'm gonna start Raven from scratch. Maybe I'll incorporate the string parts else where but I dont think it will piano anymore.

I sent you a pm on the other boards Usa regarding my wip(and no it wont be an excuse for not having it, because I do have it).

I'm starting Raven over after the deadline. I cant do a midi so I'll work with what I've got and be sure to post sometime after the 15th since I already got that one in. Now as for Political Pressure, I want to tighten some things up. I have been having trouble because I've been confliciting with different styles to do the song and certain aspects of my program that I cant seem to figure out (like having notes carry over and diminuendo's and stuff). I will try my hardest to have that one tomorrow, but as with the other one it may not be very good (that is until I can figure how to use these specific aspects of the program).
