  1. Yeah, because, you know, Kirby, Captain Falcon, Peach, Samus, and Mr Game & Watch are all one uniform style...
  2. So, about that list... Is that just a list of suggestions, or is it a list of characters that Sakurai is seriously considering? Because that's a damn good list, even if I'm surprised by the lack of Sonic and Bomberman.
  3. While I agree that the music isn't anything that great or memorable, I don't see how you can call it 'shit'. I mean, I've heard a lot of shit soundtracks, and this is pretty decent. At least it fits the areas it plays with.
  4. I think the whole point is that we haven't had a good one of these in over a decade. Sure, if we were getting them every year like some series it'd be incredibly annoying, but this only exists because fans have been waiting for years on end for more. Still, if you really don't want to risk it if the same formula will annoy you, perhaps you should hold out till Yoshi's Island 2? I figure it changed up the Mario formula enough that the sequal should be plenty entertaining.
  5. Wow, I just got NSMB for myself, and I can honestly say, I'm stunned. I figured it'd turn out as one of two things: 1: Deviate so far from the formula that it doesn't feel like Mario and therefor be incredibly disappointing or 2: Feel like classic Mario, but only because it seems like one big rehash. It's neither. It honestly retains the Mario feel while keeping it fresh. It's like I'm playing in the NES/SNES era all over again. Best 35 dollars I've spent in a long time
  6. Considering Phantom Hourglass is classic Zleda over-head view, I wouldn't worry about it.
  7. No mention of Pheonix Wright or Yoshi's Island 2? You get a B+ for effort, but don't neglect some of the best games, son!
  8. Well, having heard them all, I'm still greatly impressed. I love every last track, and my only 'slight' problem is that it's kind of hard for me to recognize the original song in Aquatic Project. But it's a great one anyway, so it is a very slight problem that isn't too much of a bother. Great work sticking this through, guys. Especially you, Richter. *salutes*
  9. So I tried to restrain myself until I got the last track (I'm a 56Ker... This happens...), but unfortunately I cannot. I'm currently up to Next My Generation, and I must say: I LOVE this collection. I can't say 'all of it' yet, but if it keeps up with the quality, I will most definetely be quite gidddy, even more so than I am now (which trust me, if you knew how giddy I was, you'd think that impossible). It's far better than I had hoped, and every minute I waited (especially the past few days) for the past year or so has all been worth it. Good work guys. All of you. You too Jeff, you made some kickass CD Art.
