Finally got to play Zircon. That was some rofl matches
-
Oh wow. I remember this when it first appeared in Nintendo Power. Freaking crazy.

This is a total noob question, but... how does one "add" people to their friend list on the ps3? I ask because I'm so used to either the simplicity of anonymity or the drudgery of friend codes.
online nick is Thalzon, of course, if anybody ends up adding me.
There's the Add Friend option in the list section...
What is a triangle jump? Forward jump, airdash down at a diagonal? And then what's the infinite?Yea that's a triangle jump. And no, Magneto doesn't actually really have an infinite.

Only if they're bad, then yea.

Actually the only grievance about Ranked Matches is finding a match.
And way less people use Sentinel ever since the nerf
-
A 25 ranked game win streak and both hate mail and praise mail all in the same night. I think I'm gonna end the gaming session on a high note.
(Xbox Live y u no give me higher ranked guys?)

I'm surprised some people here have been having trouble online. I'm really not that good, but I have about 70-80% win rate (admittedly, I've only played about 15-20 ranked matches.) It's been a ton of fun.
I have the same win rate albeit way more matches. It's gone down a bit because the system gave me the same exact people who were beating me for one whole night.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent is the only game in recent memory that made me scare-quit on a number of occasions. It's not perfect but it really is solid indie title though and it was more than worth playing.

This thread singlehandedly inspired me to finally pop in my copy of the game and give it a shot. It's surprisingly good. The graphics are beautiful and the controls are fluid. Plus, the voicework is amazing.
Quick question, are there a lot of swamp areas after the beginning? I hate wading through it being relatively constrained in my movement.
Actually that's pretty much the only place with swamps. If there are any in the later segments, I can't recall. So if anything they're all short lived grievances.

Devil May Cry 2
I like to pretend that Devil May Cry 2 never existed.

I got the game back in October and it's still sitting unplayed on my shelf. I really want to get to it, but it's one of those games I just haven't had time to play
Glad to hear you're liking the DLC, though. I don't usually get DLC for games because I'm opposed to it, but I might make an exception for this (as I did for Borderlands, the only other game I bought DLC for).
This is the only DLC I've ever been hyped for.
Instead of having an incomplete game tacked on with DLC expansions, it is DLC to answer some cliffhanger questions that will lead into the sequel. I say this is how good DLCs should be.
-
Despite its flaws and comparisons to God of War, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow was still one of my favorite games of 2010. The first of two post-game DLCs, "Reverie" has been released to lead into the sequel. Anyone else get it? I just started and I like it a lot so far...
I'll post more about it when I'm done but for now let's mind our spoilers shall we?

Patch rolled out!
Preparation for Event Mode annnnnd
Sentinel health nerf from 1,300,000 to 905,000.
I personally think having him become more of a glass cannon is a step in the right direction but it's a bit much. Dropping the health from 1,300,000 to 905,000 might have been a mistake. It might have been intended to be a drop to 950,000 since that is the Iron Man, Morrigan, Viewtiful Joe, MODOK, Wolverine health tier. No other character has 905,000.

zircon y u no accept my friend request

The finalists in one of the majors, Winter Brawl 5, for Super Street Fighter IV were pad users, beating out everyone on a stick.
It's whatever you have more fun playing with and what you do best with, tbh.

Most Sentinels I'm running into are really bad / dumb players.

tosh.0 doesn't have that big of an audience
Probably not 12 million big, but I know there are people that talk about Tosh so I imagine it's responsible for some of it. Also the video has gone "guys check out this horrible song" viral on a number of sites. Including here.
I hope you all feel good about adding hits to this unbelievable filth.
-
This song ruined all of my Fridays.
Also the video got so many hits because it was on Tosh.0.

Well, I'd tell you how great Jill and Shuma are.
IF I COULD PLAY THEM. I entered my special edition code, all goes well. I fire up the game and it tells me "can't download" no reason given as to why. I'm like, "Oh no problem, I'll just download it again. I already entered the code and it cleared so it shouldn't be an issue.".........that didn't work. So I go back to the website and enter the code again, at which point I'm greeted with a "tough $h!t sweetheart" type message. The code's already been used.......she won't download. I paid for that. That's mine. So hand it over.
That's the final kick in the balls I'm willing to take. A great franchise being driven straight to mediocrity-town I can deal with. I can still have fun. Screw me out of content I already forked over my cash to get? Now we got a scrap on our hands.
I'd be forgiving, if they were doing something to fix this. So far, nothing. Still, they better fix this.
I know people are gonna be calling me a whiner as always. Sorry, I don't like it when a company bends my wallet over the love-seat and slams it like a cheap slut.
Report the issue. If you don't put complain to the right people about it, then you're definitely not going to get Jill and Shuma.
-
Jill is mad crazy.
Too bad her missions and Shuma's missions take like 5 minutes to do. How disappointing.
-
They ruined Aya Brea.
We'll see how this turns out though.

Most Sentinel players don't even know how to use Sentinel
Also I feel like I should talk about stuff not being discussed
like mindgames.
But IDK. Mindgames aren't something formulaic like dialing out a combo.
-
I played against a 7th Lord this morning. It was amazing. He beat me cleanly, without resorting to the same combo over and over. He mopped the floor with me and it was fun.
I do have a nice winning streak going in ranked matches, which is cool. But it seems like I can only connect to ranked fighting once before it just starts giving me the failed to connect message. Is anyone else having a similar problem? Is there a way to to quickly get another match without being booted back to the main online menu?
It's an ongoing issue that's still being worked on. I hardly play ranked and stick to small lobbies. People equally as good there.

Oh.
Good luck and stay strong, Japan.
