Hi everyone! Here's my remix of Space Journey 1 from Tyrian by Alexander Brandon. I really love how the original music sounds in Adlib and I wanted to build on that and stay true to the Adlib sound so I found a way to extract the original instruments from Dosbox and put them in my DAW and work with it from there and add processing, effects and all that good stuff. This is a track I wrote for the Jempire Story OST, it's a remix of 2 tunes from Phantasy Star Online - (from the Forest in episode 1) and (from the Jungle in episode 2, also one of my favorite game tracks of all time). I'd love to hear what everyone thinks, we're planning a more proper release of the soundtrack in a month or so, so consider this a teaser until then Jempire Story is a free fan-made Spiral Knights RPG, if you want more info, I made a post about it here -
I was a bit sick from all the jazz I made recently, so I did this new track in around one hour in FL Studio, with samples found on the Internet and a few effects. Hypnotizer (SoundCloud) Feel free to comment (I know the mixing/mastering are horrible). -
hey guys! I wanted to release this at least before the holiday season ended and luckily I managed to finish this in time. I'm trying to evolve my sound so I spent much more time than usual on this song and hope I did alright. I always loved the mysteriousness of Mr. L from the Super Paper Mario game. Everyone knew who it really was the whole time, but still, it gave Luigi some much deserved attention. Not many people know that Mr. L was the one who destroyed Sammer Guy's Kingdom, but before that ever happened, the Sammer's had a tradition. This ancient tradition was a 100-Man battle, attempted by many, failed by more, and the final man to make it almost a quarter way through this tradition was none other than Mario. The main inspiration was the mysteriousness of this world. Somehow, they knew the world would eventually be destroyed, yet, they all continued life during the hard times before the world was destroyed, as if nothing was wrong. Mr. L failed his mission of fear. This 100 Sammer Guy Salute is the upbeat to remember those who were lost in the destroying of Sammer Guy's Kingdom. This was their song. -

I've been working on this track for a few months for the Super Dr. Mario RPG remix project (here: http://ocremix.org/forums/showthread.php?t=42802) I feel like this track is essentially done, but this is my first VG remix and also my first time really paying a lot of attention to mixing, so I really need the feedback on that. You can see in the link the general premise of the Super Dr. Mario RPG project, but this track is supposed to serve as a "final battle" theme.
