  1. Hi everyone ! Today, I have a great question that is a problematic. How to enhance video game remix industry ? I am aware that this question can be difficult to answer. In the video game remix industry, we are fortunate to have GameChops as a label and OC Remix as the publishing platform. However other problems are present ... the video game remix industry is not a recognized industry, few people do video game remix. In the publishing platforms, the details are too long, it's understood they miss the staff. And then there is the taboo subject "Copyright" everyone lies to themselves and knows nothing about it. I, too, know nothing about copyright. So! How to enhance video game remix industry? It's an excellent question? What're your waitings and what would you like to see change? Bonus: How to enhance anime music remix industry? Here again, the same problems are present, worse than Video Game Remix industry. Because the punishments are more important, that's why there is no record label or publishing platform... Or very bit... I do not even speak of the "copyrights" I want to make it clear that this is only my point of view, it is not the absolute truth. Any ideas or debates are welcome.
  2. The People's Remix Competition 321 PRCv13-09 Hello everyone and Welcome to the People's Remix Competition! NinjaPenguinDan was the winner of PRC319 and picked Yell "Dead Cell" from Metal Gear Solid 2 as the source for PRC320. He also submitted a bonus track. Chalis and Bundeslang participated, but no winner was decided, meaning that both got the victory. Both picked a source without a PRC history, meaning that there are no rounds with related content. Source 1: Chalis Source 2: Bundeslang Source 1: Undertale (Windows) - Megalovania MIDI Source Information Source 2: Godzilla (NES) - Chidora MIDI ThaSauce link: Click here to submit There are two sources. Remixing one of the sources is enough, but mixing both sources in one song is encouraged and will be rewarded with a first place bonus (three points). They also can remix their own source as a bonus track. To submit a song at the compo page a ThaSauce account is required. If anyone has problems with registering or uploading the song to ThaSauce, please upload the song somewhere else and post a download link in the thread. I recommend Soundcloud, don't forget to allow downloads to enable me to upload the song at ThaSauce. To register and submit, do the following. Click the ThaSauce Link. Click the 'You are not logged in' button in the upper right. Click on 'register' (at the bottom). Read the terms and click 'I agree to these terms'. 3. The People's Remix Competition 312 PRCv12-26 Hello everyone and welcome to the People's Remix Competition! Welcome to the last round of this season. Like the last seasons, this will be a free round. Again it is also allowed to remix a different source (like an Anime Theme, an original song (even remixing a midi from ORC) or anything you like). It is even allowed to continue working on a WIP, as long as most of the work is done during this round. It is not allowed to post a song which you did in the past. The only restriction is that most of the time (> 50%) spend on the song is during the upcoming two weeks. Even MIDI rips are allowed, but probably you won't get a first place with that. Source: Free Round - (Anything you like) ThaSauce link: Click here to submit Poll: There's a poll added to this thread, you can vote for the remixer who deserves a bonus point. The remixer with the most votes gets a bonus point in the first round he or she participates, including this round. In a case of a tie, all remixers who end first gets the bonus point. This only happens if at least 5 people vote. I don't know when I close the voting, it will be somewhere between the start and end of the voting stage. Only remixers who entered more than once this season are in the list of the poll. To submit a song at the compo page a ThaSauce account is required.
