Fishy Posted February 19, 2008 Share Posted February 19, 2008 I did search this and found no mention so eh: Ormgas announced on the 5th they are going to be closing down in a few months, has there been any mention as to who/where any potential sequels will occur, and is there any chance that a streaming mechanism will be implemented as an official OCR doohickey. Its probably a horrendous bandwidth issue for anyone considering it, I just wanted to know cause I used ormgas quite a lot . Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
zircon Posted February 19, 2008 Share Posted February 19, 2008 As of now, several individuals in the Ormgas community appear to have the bandwidth and ability to maintain the site and the station. However, we (the staff) are not 100% sure we want that to be our official radio stream, now that we have the opportunity to implement something ourselves... eg. something involving last.fm, perhaps, which doesn't use our bandwidth and is basically all set to go as it is.
