The Orichalcon
I'm going into the business of creating background loops for games. Generating them properly inside FLStudio is no problem. However, when I render to mp3, it leaves a small gap at the beginning and end of the file which disrupts the perfect-repeat loop in playback. Same small gap at the front and end of the song. I've changed the sync depth back and forth, tried using the cut/wrap/leave remainders. Problem arises each time. It doesn't have the gap when I render to wav, when I save it as an mp3 from Audition though, it also adds the gaps. The file has to end up as an mp3. Anyone know how to rid these pesky gaps from the render?
lazygecko
Export to wav and encode them in RazorLAME or something.
Zephyr
I think that's just a standard glitch of using mp3s try the razorlame thing though.
zircon
I have encountered the same problem... it's an MP3 encoding thing. OGG will loop seamlessly; no gaps on encode.
Jacian
I would download Audacity and import as wav and then use the LAME MP3 codec (Audacity will tell you how to get it) to export to MP3. It doesn't do that goofy break thing either. I hope that IL will fix this problem because it is obnoxious ~jace
zircon
Again, it's an MP3 encoding thing. Not an FLStudio problem. The same thing will happen if you encode anywhere else.
