Applause sound effect

After some 15 minutes of searching hammersound, sf2midi, kvraudio, and google, I am having trouble finding a good applause sound effect.

The track I am working on is sort of a metal/rock track and it starts off with the keyboards playing the classic riff. Then the audience swells into a shouting applause and the guitars/drums/bass take off with it.

computer music magazine (uk) issue 124 (april) had a long article on how to make "fake" live music, with a long tutorial on how to make realistic applause effects.

Speaking of Computer Music, did any other US subscribers get fucked out of issue 123 (March) and now the US distributor won't return their emails? Because that's happening to me too.
