The Pezman Posted July 17, 2008 Share Posted July 17, 2008 Looking up briefly on Macworld, apparently the latest Macbook Pros were released back in February (damn I'm out of the loop), so you might as well just buy one now (as well as take advantage of the free ipod deal with it). Heh... when it comes to tech, I do my research very carefully. Macbook Pros have been inching closer and closer to a refresh with the introduction of the Montevina platform. Other leaked evidence has supported this claim. They're also rumored to see significant aesthetic reworkings to bring them in line with iMacs and the Air. In short, its first major design change in over five years. Hopefully, this renovation will be completed before the free iPod deal expires. This is the patience I referred to in my above post. If I were going to buy a February-revised Macbook Pro, I would have done it a while back, as I've mentioned how frustrating working on my PC laptop has become. There is a small chance that they announce a new line for something on the last week of the deal. But remember, tech is continually evolving, so you'll never catch an ideal time to buy a product.
