I was all into the idea of music mixing, but when i was going to buy the keyboard bout a month and a half ago, my family kept telling me, I wont use it -.- So, I refrained from buying it.

I WANT to learn to mix music and whatnot. But im kinda misguided. =/

buy a $50 two octave midi controller off ebay and start going to town. You really do have to make an initial investment. You can't try to get by with free crap all the time. Save $50 and buy a keyboard. If you end up not liking music, then at least you will only have spent $50 instead of spending days after days of worrying about whether or not you would like it or not.

Before you do anything, download a demo of FL studio/sonar/ableton/reaper/whatever and look at the demo project that comes with it

Im not an Ebay person, iv talked to my brother about a MIDI controller and he said he could get me a good one. he plays guitar, bass, drums. keyboard, he is an amazing artist. a DAW. I will re download FL. For somereason, AVG likes to pick the .exe as a virus O_o.
