djpretzel
We found a mix under a different title, Zelda+64+-+Storm+Rifted+Sky.mp3, that we believe is being submitted - djp Hello again, DJP and/or judges. I've made a new arrangement of three ocarina melodies from Z64; Song of Storms, Bolero of Fire, and Requiem of Spirit. Find the song here: UnknownProductions, and download the file called 'A Storm in the Desert'. Title is 'A Storm in the Desert'. Wow, repetitive. Thanks for your time, guys. ~Ty
DarkeSword
Ah yes. The first of the Artifact of Power series. Great interpretation of the melody, great development. The way you move from melody to melody is excellent, and I like how you've taken tiny ocarina songs and developed them into a full orchestral piece. Excellent work. You're shaping up to be OCR's premiere orchestral Zelda arranger. YES
Vig
Note: I'm listening to "storm in the desert." This is good. however, it suffers from medlyitis. none of the themes are expanded on too much. however, what's here is strong... i'm going to give this a borderline YES

GrayLightning
I think we are all voting on different mixes! Protricity mentioned a synth? Which isn't in the AoP - A Storm in the Desert mix that Darke and vig reviewed - contained in the body of his submission. Yet at the top of the submission it's talking about another mix, Zelda Storm Rifted Sky? Which are we voting on? Storm in the Desert or Storm Rifted Sky? Someone just made a mistake. Someone who's name starts with Dave Lloyd. So yea, I got the new song and am listening to it. I'll have to hear it again when I get home to review it. GrayLightning
I really enjoyed this one. Beautiful instrumentation, articulation, pacing, and production. Next time for this kind of mix, I suggest panning the oboe closer to center. Good job Unknown. YES
