Anyway, I've been looking about for an internal recorder- one that I can just click a button and it'll record directly from my sound drivers. I've had no luck so far... Harmony Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 I don't know what companies don't make that standard. On my SoundBlaster Live that functionality was there and it was incredibly useful. To get it done now I have to physically connect my output to my input. Sorry I can't help any more than that. Quote

Nutritious Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 It really depends on your sound card and drivers. Apparently, a few years ago the RIAA got some soundcard manufacturers to eliminate the Stereo Mix (internal recording) option from their drivers. I'm not sure what the current situation is, but I'm able to do it from my current SB Audigy 2. Depending on what you've got, you may be able to google on it to find a set of drivers that allows Stereo Mix recording. Quote
