Echo Raid Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 well, I have a problem. I'm trying to make the reccuring beat-well, loop- in my ReMix not sound like it's the same thing everytime you hear it in the remix.. Anyone have any suggestion on how to do this? Quote
Moseph Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 Change it up. If it's an audio clip, slice it up and shuffle the pieces around. Maybe put an effect on it. Layer another loop on top of it. Etc. Quote
Echo Raid Posted December 18, 2009 Author Posted December 18, 2009 hm, okay, i'm going to explore doing those things. thank you lots Quote
Matney X Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 If it's a MIDI loop, depending on what program you're using, you could try a humanization plugin. (I prefer this one) It's not a fix-all, but it can save you the trouble of humanizing it yourself, and it will change every repetition of the loop in a different way. Quote
Zephyr Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 Another good way is to use FX and automate them, especially in trancy and techno stuff. If it fits the mood just through a filter on there and do some automation to mix things up, depends on the instrument though. Quote
