TGH Posted February 20, 2010 Share Posted February 20, 2010 I think you're on the right track with this, but it definitely needs a lot of work. I think the bass should play a lot larger part in the song, and thus should be panned in the center. Parts of it almost seemed as if the lead was left out on it's own while the bass just kinda wandered around. Also, I'm not quite sure that guitar works. . . I think the sample is a bit rigid. I think synth would sound great in its place. The intro was pretty cool, but it was weird how the heavy bass just kinda went away suddenly. It just left sort of an empty feeling. . .I think the low bass-oriented idea in the intro is superb and really grabs the listener's attention, however. I noticed that you have the same sound effect at the end, but instead of just ending, the reverb allows it to fade away. I would try applying the same effect to the sound effect in the intro.
