djpretzel
Hey, this is another mix I'd like to see rejec...err.. judged. ;P This is a remix of Coo the owl's theme from Kirby's Dream Land 2. Vig
hmm...the strings are dumb, meaning, whole-note, simple harmony, no dynamics. on top of that, it's too short, the arrangement doesnt develop, and there are bad notes starting at 1:25. NO
DarkeSword
Eek...I can get better sounds out of WinGroove. This sounds very amateurish. Cymbal hits on every measure; whole note string chords; snare hits on every beat; no harmony to speak of. Rather repetitive too. Too bad though; I really love Coo's Theme. Disco Dan
Nice samples! Actually, they're not all THAT bad. But given their use, I'm reminded of a Blue Mountain E-Greeting card. I'm sorry. That's the driving force behind my NO. The arrangement isn't spectacular, but it's not awful either. I can't tell what's from the source material and what's original to this mix. Also it's ... very short lived. Ok I already voted. Enough chat. D
Protricity
My thumb hurts, so NO Oh right. So basically this song suffers from 3 big issues: 1. Lack of variation. Its just a bunch of looping melodies. 2. Poor sample quality and/or use of samples. 3. Poor sequencing on the part of bass, percussion, and string pads.
