Help with sig

Sorry I know I just posted a thread here, but it just accured to me that I don't have a sig and I would really like one. I don't know how to make them or apply them to my username. If someone could show me how to do one or make me one that would be great.

If you just want a line or two of text, you can edit that in very easily. If you want a picture, there are a couple threads with the purpose of people asking for signatures here and there -- poke around for them.

This question was also answered in this thread -- next time a little searching may go a long way.

Sigs are just like other post data, text and tags (like image tags). "User CP"->"Edit Signature", then click the image icon (looks like a yellow postcard with mountains) and enter the url to your image. You'll have to host it somewhere, tho.

Unfortunately there's not really an efficient way to teach you how to make your own sig other than pointing you at the tools and telling you "have at it".

I use GIMP for 95% of my image manipulations, personally.
