djpretzel
Pretty big sound, definitely rather evil/screeching at time - djp Remixer name: MeestahP Real Name: Pablo Email: Meestahp@hotmail.com Name of Game Remixed: Metroid Song: Kraid's Hideout Comments: This is a tune that was burned into my brain for years. Vig
the screaming aspect of this mix is great, the sounds are sweet, etc. but the arrangement is unrefined. the low string inthe beginning needs faster attack. the verses are chopped up, although the last one is definately the best. i say keeep the feel, the background noise etc. and make the arrangement a little more cohesive and interesting. Liontamer
Very nice attempt at something different. Like Vig said, try and make things a little more cohesive, go for a bit more on the rearrangement side (since I heard some promising things from :47-:59 & 2:41-2:52 with the guitar sounds), and rename the mix to something entirely different. The unorthodox style isn't a negative to me, but I need more done with the source material's rearrangment. NO (hope to see a resubmission)
Protricity
Direct rip with additions that for the most part involve turning the delay feedback way up. NO
Digital Coma
Direct rip with additions that for the most part involve turning the delay feedback way up. Exactly. This intro is literally laughable. Picks up a bit afterwards... sort of. Symphonic instrumentation is cool, but it and everything else is extremely messy. The inclusion of a screeching noise makes no sense. Very poorly done. NO
