AlmightyArceus
So this is my first post in a long time now.....anyways I've been at work lately at some new B/W remixes, and this one was my first. A very proud production--provided a small MIDI by LugiaDialga and then went from there. Went WAAAAYYY far from there: solos, key change, new backgrounds, percussion (altho a bit overshadowed, intentionally of course) etc. I'm so proud of this work, I'm posting it as a "finished" product! For now, the best I can do is youtube, but another link will be provided ASAP! LINK: SOURCE: PS: If you're wondering about the funky disonance between the guitar and other synth part at 3:36 (different by a half step) THAT WAS INTENTIONAL; i put in a little bit of dissonance there to pronounce the resolve a few seconds later. AMT
Starting right off, that bass sound makes it sound like this is just playing back on an actual DS. Actually, the whole song is like that, which usually doesn't fly for OCRs. Your drums sound like they're interesting, but they are really hard to hear over the synths. By 3:00 I feel like I've heard the same thing over and over; the song has no dynamics. It's just in your face pounding the whole time, and not in a good way. Your actual synths weren't too bad- you definitely have promise. Practice your drums / beats / percussion and this will come out a lot better. Definitely keep posting your material! Mak Eightman
Wow! That was noise. Thats all I have to say. As AMT said your drums may be interesting if someone hear they. I like bass, but only because its clean to hear. And it seemed to me that you just copy bass-line from original midi track and paste it with sound changing. Hope I wrong. But idea pretty nice. And maybe you try to use mp3's link to post. And I was waiting for something "strong-kicking" after bass intro. Sorry for my english:mrgreen: P.S. Hi AMT!
