It has great patches (and a wide variety of instrument/room/ensemble set ups), although it has a bit of a learning curve. It works in the free Kore Player. If $60 isn't the down the "cheap" alley for you, then I honestly would suggest waiting and saving up for it rather than getting some other cheap brass thing and then regretting it down the line.
