MaxFrost
I think Brandon's connection stalled out and disconnected him. When are you going to upgrade dude?
Brandon Strader
3Mbps Verizon DSL downloads like 300Kb/s split between a household of 3. It's the fastest net in my area Since posting this thread, I've downloaded 1% of Rage.
Moseph
I only have a 768 kbps connection (because I'm cheap) and pull 70-80 KB/s on downloads, and downloads like to stall out on me. Rage would probably take me almost a week to download.
Brandon Strader
I totally thought the game Rage would be appealing to OCR when I made this thread. Come on, it's a new ID SOFTWARE IP! Get hyped, people! The graphics are on par if not better than Battlefield 3. I'm more excited than a bull in a chinashoppe for this thing. Moseph
Buy a hard copy? Probably the best solution. But this is purely hypothetical. The same cheapness that keeps me on a slow internet connection also keeps me from paying $60 for a game.
Brandon Strader
Left it on when I slept, it's been on nonstop since I made the thread... somehow it's up to 96%. How did that happen?

Hy Bound
Considering all of the id IP's i've played have been kinda shitty tech demos *Cough* Doom 3 *Cough* i haven't been following this one as closely as i think i should. On the other hand it looks great and everything i've seen so far is great and just what i like about Post-Apocalyptic games so once reviews start trickling in i'll see whats up. Brandon Strader
I got Doom 3 right when it came out. It was hyped up so hard, and it actually blew me away. I think a lot of other games have adopted elements from Doom3 that weren't even in heavy use at the time. Stuff like clicking on video panels in a level. I never saw something like that in a game before Doom 3. And the physics of knocking a traffic cone around or whatnot. I hope Rage becomes as big as the Doom franchise, or Quake... I am excite
