SonicThHedgog
I started hearing alot of info about the new DAW, but now everything seems quiet! One thing I know is that it looks alot like ableton...Hell Ableton and Bitwig are both being developed in berlin germany so it maybe an ableton version aimed more at music production and workflow ???? Im on there newsletter and I dont have a single email from them aswell. I cant wait for the beta but could someone fill me in please! http://bitwig.com/bitwig_studio.php
Zerothemaster
I've never heard of it. But just because it's made in the same city as ableton doesn't mean that it's going to be anything like ableton... heck, I live 20 minutes away from where Adam Young makes music and I don't make anything remotely synth-pop-y. just saiyan

avaris
Bitwig is not the same company as Ableton. Howeverm Bitwig was started by a couple of people who use to work as developers for Ableton. Hence that is why there are so many similarities between the software. No one has been invited for the beta testing btw. (I;m another one who is anxiously waiting)
DarkeSword
When starting a thread, you should provide a link or an explanation as to what you're talking about. Don't just start up a conversation assuming people already know what you're discussing. I added a link to the Bitwig site in the first post. Kanthos
There's also a couple existing threads on Bitwig
theshaggyfreak
I looked into it the other day, and there hasn't been a word from the Bitwig guys in several weeks. So, I'm not sure what the deal is. I guess we just have to wait and see.
Nabeel Ansari
Before I was like "Cool, an Ableton and Cubase fusion rip! Sounds awesome!" Now after FL Performance Mode news I'm like "Cool, an Ableton and Cubase fusion rip. Sounds awesome. /sarcasm"
