2manygentlemen Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 I really like DSK's plugins, because there's such a great variety of different ones and most of them are simple to use. Even a relative newcomer such as myself can expect an inviting learning curve trying to use these. The fact that they're free is also rather attractive. What do you guys have to say about DSK? Any particular favorites? Quote
timaeus222 Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 I think the output is muted sometimes for some of them. I dunno, sometimes some of them just don't make any sound and I have to reopen the project. I used to use them, but there are way better free plugins, like SpicyGuitar. Quote
AngelsDen Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 Same here.. DSK Plugins are okay for basic arrangements, but they have alot of bugs and issues in the post-processing. Quote
jnWake Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 DSKOverture has decent string sounds, and some other acceptable sounds. Sadly, it doesn't have many features, so it'll always sound a bit fake. The other DSK VSTs are "ok", with ChoirZ being the only one I would use for a mix. The guitar and bass ones are pretty meh. Quote
Guifrog Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 I like Asian DreamZ and Indian DreamZ. In fact, those are the only ones I use from DSK SpicyGuitar's a must-have btw. Quote
Magnetic Ether Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 Honestly I haven't been impressed with choirZ or stringZ, but those are the only ones I've used. Quote
