ElementalKnight Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 (edited) Hi everybody! I was going through my old SNES games the other day and came across Goof Troop, a great game. Its music is awesome too (written by Mega Man X's composer), and I was just wondering if anybody would have any interest in remixing some of it! I didn't have any particular track in mind, since I love all of them, but here are a couple: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3-cRC-kxFmQ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ItElCFHRmWo As for a style, do whatever! I was inspired to post here while listening to this, though: You should play the game, if you haven't. I wish I could offer money or some reward, but I'm a broke college kid. I can offer my deepest thanks, though! Edited October 5, 2012 by ElementalKnight Quote
Amayirot Akago Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 Seconding this request. Having watched Game Grumps play this game, the music has stuck with me ever since. Definitely good remix material. Quote
ElementalKnight Posted October 19, 2012 Author Posted October 19, 2012 If it's a matter of payment, let's discuss it! If I have to forgo a few ramen noodle meals, I will. I have a really soft spot for this music, and I'd love to have more of it to listen to! Quote
KyleJCrb Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 This is one boopin'-ass game with music that I can get behind the remixing of. Quote
DaMonz Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 I've played this game since I was about 5 years old. This thread hit me right in the nostalgia! I might consider remixing this, but not before a while, I have too many tracks in the making at the moment. A remix of this game's music is DEFINITELY something I'll eventually give a go, though. ElementalKnight Posted October 20, 2012 Author Posted October 20, 2012 It was one of my first games! So nostalgic. Your Star Fox remix sounds awesome. I'd love you forever if you got around to this game. Quote
ElementalKnight Posted January 13, 2013 Author Posted January 13, 2013 I'm not sure if it's frowned upon to bump topics, but it's been a few months, and I just wanted to see if anyone had an open remixing slot for Goof Troop yet. Just played through the game again for the hundredth time. Wish it were longer. Quote
Dafydd Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 Personally I think this theme is really mixable: Quote
ElementalKnight Posted April 4, 2013 Author Posted April 4, 2013 What can I do to get some Goof Troop jams going? I've been trying to remix myself, and boy do I suck at it. Quote

OMC Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 Oooooh man, I would totally toss some dough in the pot for some Goof Troop remixes. Stacks of max jammin' tracks. Quote
Bundeslang Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 It was exactly two years ago when a Goof Troop source (To the South) was remixed in PRC, PRC267. Two quick entries which can be downloaded from the CompoThaSauce page: http://compo.thasauce.net/rounds/view/PRC267 Quote
OMC Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 Yup, it's just as you'd imagine. Works great for boopin' remixes. Thanks for those links! It'll never be enough, though! Quote
