I suppose this is as good a place for an introduction as any! My name is Kevin Fredericks, I like this site a lot. I direct the Reno Video Game Symphony and I recently started recording remixes in my own studio space rather than with the orchestra.

That's where I put it. I know this forum is one song per thread, so I just put the link up for my remix of "A Curious Tale" by Hiroki Kikuta. It has a viola in it!

Some things sound like they have too much wet on the reverb (like the sidestick panned right). You should try it with less and see what you think.

yeah, I'm a big fan of Nigel Godrich's style of production and I enjoy having enormous transients on everything, but that sidestick starts to lose some of its rhythmic impact at times.

thanks! I may get to submitting recordings from the orchestra to this site. I was impressed/compelled by the fact that the submission guidelines are more specific than most radio stations.
