Has anyone else played this fantastic game on PSN? It has a lot of elements similar to Metroid and Castlevania along with several clever easter eggs referencing video game culture and internet memes. The gameplay is great, the story is engaging, the art is immaculate and the music...I'm looking forward to a few good mixes up in this piece.

Really awesome an fun game. Had a huge blast playing with a friend and griefing each other when you get the world changing powers

Also I want to point out that I am half mexican, and mexico is EXACTLY like this game portrays :3

I've been thinking of getting it for $12, but on the fence for now. It does look fun but supposedly it can be beat in 5 hours, but it does have cross play which is good for when I get a Vita. Rumors are that it might get a Steam release though.

Super Metroid can be - and is incentivized to be - beaten in less than three hours. It all depends on how much you want to get out of the game.

Guacamelee could provide a very satisfying speedrun experience, or if you take your time with it, you can have a rich, engaging romp through the animated, caricatured world.

I'd say it's worth the $12.

Hell, lot's of great games can be beat in less than 5 hours. If I got this though, and I probably will, I'm one of those guys who likes to get everything. I'd probably get a good number of hours in it
