I gave this one a chance, I tried my hardest to try and like it, but here's my biggest problem - I can not hear the source material anywhere, and I know Sonic CD enough to know what Palmtree Panic's past version sounds like. Perhaps this is more likely to be "inspired" by the source material?

If so, it's going to stand a better chance getting attention if moved to PYO. :\
