Logic 9's Orchestral Ability

That's probably the worst title in history but basically...

I have seriously been a few arguments where people say things like "Logic's orchestral and often more real instruments aren't that great anymore; there are plenty of other plugins which are way better than the built in Logic ones". While this could be true, I think people take it to an extreme and say it sucks altogether, which I tried to tell them most definitely isn't true.

Now, this isn't to say it's absolutely amazing, either. It's just decent. It'll do the job for some situations. Not all. The problem is I think most people simply want to find the easy way out rather than really working with it. I think this is the deal: if you know what you're doing, you can pull it off. That's always really the case, but seriously, it's fairly doable if you really know what you're doing.

I'm extremely competitive and I wanted to prove those humans wrong, so basically I just made a simple demonstration of Logic's ability with it all and because I was too lazy, I threw it all on Instagram in 5 parts due to the limited time you're given with each Instagram video (because listen, in some regards I'm pretty freaking stupid). Shoot me.

Not to burst your bubble or anything, but the video/audio quality probably isn't going to convince those people. It SEEMS good to me, but to them... I dunno.

I think Logic is a great DAW for composing songs in general. I do think they have good orchestral sounds for an "included in the box" item, but you're right - they aren't amazing; they're just good, and better than what most DAWs offer IMO.

I don't really see the point of the argument though. Use what works for you. I like Logic, I brag about it and tell people it's great, but I won't go out of my way to prove it to them. If they want to use something else and boast about it, so be it. I work well in Logic and do my best to support it.

I'm not trying to tell them Logic is the best, I'm simply trying to prove that bashing it around is also unnecessary
