It's a Finnish freeware game, I did squish a few aliens indeed (and then get squished myself) in this arena shooter. It's sort of a spiritual predecessor to Crimsonland even. Interestingly, the game (including music) was made by Atte Ilvessuo, one of the founders of RedLynx, of Trials fame.
