Chernabogue
https://soundcloud.com/chernabogue/electro-robotspeech This is a very short thing I made with my brother (actually, the strange synth at the beginning is his voice through numerous effects!). And we were having fun with the synth voices!! At first, the robot voice was saying bad words, so I changed for something more funny (but trying to keep the groove). Almost everything is from basic FL Studio. I'm quite happy with it, since I used various things (EQ, master, effects, dubstep bass) I'm trying to master a little. Enjoy! Uffe von Lauterbach
The voice you used from your brother could be in a lower octave or two. The bass seems almost non-existent. The kick could be a little more powerful. I don't really care for the robotic voice repeating "Electro robot speech". It sounded fine at 0:15, but after that, it didn't sound all that interesting. The kick drum at 1:30 sounds like it's not in sync, as if there is some beat matching issue.
timaeus222
Pretty good. The upper treble in the EQ is a little bright, and the speech synthesizer stuff gets repetitive pretty quickly. I didn't hear anything off with the kick drum at 1:30. Overall the mixing could be a little tighter in the midrange. It gets kind of messy and occasionally has clarity issues. Chernabogue
Thanks for the feedback. I see where the problems are, even if I won't come back to mix this track. I made it for fun, even if the voice is repetitive, etc. It'll be useful if I decide to make another electro track in the future.
