Bass Guitar Appreciation Thread

Since someone created a guitar thread, I decided to create a bass thread I just started playing bass again recently. It's really fun. I created a Spotify playlist of songs that have dirty, nasty, funky basslines: https://play.spotify.com/user/seankn64/playlist/109pfyxAwNARt3J7yXJhH6 Right now it only has indie rock, but I'm open to suggestions on what to put in it. The entire genre of dance-punk/electro-rock/new rave has awesome basslines.

What are your favorite bass-centric songs? Are there any OC Remixes where bass is the main instrument?

For people who play bass, what kind of bass do you have? Do you have a favorite effect pedal? I'm thinking of getting a Bass Big Muff Pi or a Bass Sansamp, because I heard they're good.

Oh wow, I somehow missed this thread! Even though I also play guitar, I consider myself primarily a bass player.
