Pretty straightforward genre adaptation, plus occasional yelling SFX. It's definitely a cool electronic cover so far, but there's not too much going on beyond the dance beat and chip lead. 1:34 sounded like a retread of :52, before finally having a dropoff at 1:48 with some ambient pads. Theme returns with the bridge at 2:00, then the first use of the chorus at 2:14, and the verse again at 2:42.

So this is a cool cover, with reasonable mixing and solid sound choices. At the end of the day, there needs to be more variation of the beat pattern or even more changeups in the instrumentation and textures to create more dynamics in the piece. The 1:48-2:15 dropoff was a creative break, but the rest of the track basically coasts on top of the same beats for the other 3 minutes. Again though, really cool start here and you could definitely get something passed provided the arrangement develops & varies more.

Larry covered the issues nicely.  The sound choices here are great, and so is the mixing, but the track gets repetitive after awhile since the sounds and beat stay the same for so long.  I like the breakdown, but that's the only variation away from a fairly relentless beat.  Somehow, you've got to add some kind of variation, either in writing or in sounds.  Also, the ending is really abrupt!  Overall, I like this, it sounds good, it just needs more variation to be an OC ReMix.

Quite a thumping straight forward mix. You have done a respectable job on pretty much everything as far as production goes.

My crits mainly sit with the lack of variety in this mix. Your leads play pretty much the same melodies throughout the entire track for example, as well as the drums. There is also overuse of some samples, like the echoey growl and the yells - the more they're used, the less impact they carry as the track goes on. Your breakdown in the last third changes things up nicely, albeit a bit late in the mix.

I think the track is mostly solid and really just needs some more interpretation of the source thrown in, whether thats an occasional change in the melodies and/or perhaps another (original) breakdown. I would personally like to see a reduction in the frequency of those vocal samples as mentioned, but if there's more variety thrown in across the track it may be enough.
