Good, but VERY short... arguably underdeveloped, but it does feel substantive...

Comments on the track:
What if Samus Aran was an accomplished Jazz pianist in her free time? It might sound something like this. I can't remember what exactly inspired me to go with jazz but I was working on my orchestrated medley from Metroid when I came up with it. It started with the bass/piano part that you hear in the beginning. I thought it had such a cool vibe to it and should definitely turn it into a full piece. Once I started getting more pieces together I realized this has a Dave Brubeck sound to it. I immediately started thinking of how to make an album cover that fused Dave Brubeck's Time Out album artwork and the metroid characters. Luckily I have a very talented artist for a sister and she made it a reality. You can see the artwork in the youtube video:

There's something really cool about this approach, it's clear that you put a lot of effort into this (the artwork on the Youtube video is neat!) I think you nailed the production and genre-conversion element of this... the duration of the track is the only issue I have, but unfortunately it's a dealbreaker in my book - 1 and a half minutes really isn't enough time to develop a substantial arrangement per OC ReMix standards. I'd love to hear this arrangement more fleshed out - what you've got here is excellent but I just don't think there's enough of it.

Yeah this is really great but it feels like half a song.  What I'd love to hear next is a soft breakdown with very minimal drums (or at least a very different groove), then a buildup and back to another verse/chorus then outro.  The piano and bass here are top notch.  Just needs more material to be an OC ReMix.

Freakin awesome take on the original. Great tones. I enjoy the genre choice, the performance of the various parts, and the production makes everything feel it's in the same physical space. I can't really fault anything here except for the duration, which has already been raised by everyone else. Don't do this to us - as heart breaking as it is, a slightly more extensive arrangement is needed for OCR. Get back to us with this and you're gold.
