Nabeel Ansari Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 What DAW are you using? Some make this easy, some don't. Quote
Meteo Xavier Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 Forgive my ever expanding idiocy, what is vertically flipping a MIDI? Quote
timaeus222 Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 From what I can tell, it uses the highest note as the upper bound and lowest note as the lower bound, calculates the midpoint and uses that as the reflection axis, and reflects each note in the highlighted set over that axis. Quote
Nabeel Ansari Posted May 28, 2016 Posted May 28, 2016 Timaeus, you don't need to scientifically explain everything. @Meteo Xavier It turns your MIDI upside down. Quote
Meteo Xavier Posted May 28, 2016 Posted May 28, 2016 Umm... nope, not gettin' it. What would you need to flip that upside down for? Quote

dannthr Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 Flipping a MIDI [flip-ing ey mid-ee] A hand gesture using the ASL "G" with the left hand crossed over an "M" with right hand. Used to identify members of the General MIDI gang. Turning your MIDI File over in order to achieve an even crispness when you're really cooking, man. Taking an existing MIDI file, improving it, and redistributing it for profit. Quote
