WIP Dimitri Dance Mix (Sly Cooper 2 Club Theme)

I'm trying a different genre than normal. This is still a work in progress and also I'm trying to do it without recording any live instruments. (Very new at this) If anyone has any suggestions on the eq mixing, progression, or even how I would get the guitar slide sound at the beginning of the original, I'd love to hear them. As always I'm looking for this communities knowledge and criticism since it's proved so useful in the past.

I used to be a Sly Cooper fan in my youth. Anyway I can't believe someone had the balls to remix this one and am impressed by what you did (even though it could use some work). What tempo is this at anyway? There really needs to be some Sly Cooper remixes on OCRemix.

Not sure why I didn't get notified of a reply, but thanks for the input! It's at 135 right now and I'm still working on it. (Uploading a new, almost finished version tomorrow). I actually picked this because I could not find any remixes from anyone else. I'll possibly submit it once I get some more input on what needs fixed.

I really loved this game as a child and have sparked a new interest in tracking down a rom of it (my original is scratched to hell ) so thank you for that! As far as the remix goes, I really like what you did with it though I am confused as to why one of the tags is dubstep? It feels more like house music to me. Regardless, I get almost a Deadmau5 vibe from this and its freaking awesome! I think the bass lead can be more at places like 2:34 but that's just my opinion lol. I looking into house music too as i am working on  house version of Death by Glamour! Good Job man!

So, I'm not familiar with electronic or house music too much, that's why I was tagging it as what I've listened to in the past. What do you mean by "the bass lead can be at more places like 2:34"? Like overlap that section with the bass lead from the beginning?

No no I am just saying that I personally would have the bass melody (I am assuming that is what that is) more pronounced and in your face but I have a more aggressive music style then you so I guess my advice is pointless to you lol. As far as I am concerned, I think it's great

You know, I don't usually comment on games I've never played, but I listened to this WIP once about two weeks ago and I've heard it about once a day since because I CAN'T STOP LISTENING TO IT.

Damn you for making a song I can't get out of my head. Now I have to go listen to it again...

Thanks for the advice and compliments guys. I uploaded the newest version with just more balanced mixing, not too many changes, but it's at least improvement.
