Well, I'm at work and away from the program itself, but I'd suggest running the BuzzFixKit, which is, I think, under Buzz>Tools>Fix Kit. It has a bunch of fixes, (duh) including resetting audio drivers and stuff like that. You might find one that helps out; be sure to read the help manual. If you can't find it you may need to dl it seperately.

Umm, I'm not sure what to download. You'll probably want the update pack, but I can't be certain what the difference between the other two files is.

I found a less confusing mirror if you want to check that out: http://www.buzzmusic.de/. Go to Buzz tab, click buzz packs. Some great packs there that are very up to date. Hopefully that page will work, and if it doesn't, check the BuzzWiki for Buzzpacks. It has a list of mirrors.

i also encountered the directsound problem (i'm on xp home fyi).

i'm now dling the extendedback from buzzmusic.de

hope it helps.

on the same note: where can i find the FixKit? my Buzz does not have one. perhaps downloaded the extended pack will solve this...
