It was cool, for like the first season or 2...basically until you knew that one particular bot/design would always win in a given division. Example: that spinning design would always win in lightweight. Sure, they tried spicing it up by doing different things, but I got bored of it after pretty much season 2.

The show would have been bette if rather than being controlled by remote, they where controlled by tiny people. And the tiny people, where actually regular sized people, because the robots are like 200 feet tall, making the people tiny in comparison. And they fought in unprotected stadiums full of thousands of spectators.

G Gundam, anyone? Man that show was silly.

Damn, actually both these shows were silly, though Battlebots was kind of awesome for a little while. Two ramming/lifting bots versus each other was usually interesting, as was anything with just one harsh attack, like the ones that struck downwards.
