My soundcard good enough?

Hey there again, Zephyr Tread here, I'm getting in on re-mixing and want to know if my soundcard should get an upgrade, I'm using an SB audigy 2 ZS audio, at least it think thats what I'm using... Will it have low enough latency? is there a way to test? Any tips on good sound cards?

The Audigy 2 ZS will give you okay latency. NOT okay in a professional environment, but good enough for one midi controller and some techno. It won't give you anything useful in terms of live audio recording.

Allright, I'm just getting into re-mixing so at the moment I'll just have 1 midi keyboard and fruity-loops going. So it should be okay for latency on that then?
