lazygecko Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 http://www.zshare.net/audio/2549881564a2b1/ Jazzy harmonies and some crazy choir portamento solo. Quote
PlastikBag Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 This is pretty cool. Except for the fact that a stupid ad took over the page halfway through. Quote
Groovemaster303 Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 Reminds me a little of 808 State's work from the early 90's (Pacific State etc..) Jazzy and funky retro house that you would hear in a club on a good night out. I need this on vinyl Quote
Martin Penwald Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 Groovemaster is right; the intro from 0:15 on is reminiscent of Pacific State. The synth entering at 0:30 makes this one an instant winner. I simply love this retro-house style. See also: the breakdown from 2:00; nice way to end it with some heavy drums, btw. The outro is too long IMO; it's 45 seconds with basically three parts, every one 15 seconds. However, there isn't enough in there to warrant 15 seconds for each. Quote
lazygecko Posted July 6, 2007 Author Posted July 6, 2007 I decided to try a different direction: http://www.zshare.net/audio/25942652a06a3b/ The source for the old version is still there though. Quote
Groovemaster303 Posted July 7, 2007 Posted July 7, 2007 nice.. can't wait to hear the full version. Quote
