Jam Stunna
I've been recording TV with my cheap Nikon CoolPix L4 digital camera, and I've always had lines from the YV show up in the video, butthey weren't too bad. However, today I recorded a few matches of SSBM and the lines were so dark and so recurring that they pretty much made one of the matches unwatchable. Is there a technique or program I can use to clean that up, or am I stuck?
Rozovian
I don't know what lines you're talking about, but I think it's the TV frame rate that's causing your problems. Try increasing shutter speed time on the camera (if the camera can do that). If you have some kind of hard drive recorder, you should plug the cube to that, and the recorder to the TV. If not, and you can't change the shutter speed, I can only suggest trying to plug the cube into another device. I doubt the camera can record an input signal. Jam Stunna
Yeah, it can't. Thanks for the help though.
Katsurugi
I don't think there's any way to change shutter speed when recording video. There might be an option to change the aperature though, but that wouldn't solve your problem. The different refresh rates is definitely the problem though. If there is any difference then you'll see some deviation from the actual picture you see with your eye. I personally don't think that there's anything for you to do, but get better equipment. Just FYI, television shows are aired at 29-30 fps whereas games have a lot of variability from F-Zero which is about 30 to 60 in crazier, newer games... at least I think the numbers are right.
