DarkCecil13
I find it interesting that DarkainDragoon mentions in no way the game of which Port Town is from. I think it's obvious, though - F-Zero for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. I'm surprised DJP didn't know. Well, there's nothing special here with the mix. It's the original with some changed instruments with some drumloops on top. Definitely not OCR material. The original is much more enjoyable. Nothing is added here to aurally please me. The samples are shit, too. NO
Saunders
"Doo doo, doo doo, doo doo, doo dodododo doooo!" - This song. Lead sounds like a .mid file sample. Gotta agree with Thomasino here. Vote: No
Protricity
Whats a .mid file sample, rob? anyway, I REALLY HATE mp3.com links blah blah blah etc etc anyway, Pros: Like the effects used. Cons: Drumloops, but lets see if it carrys the song. Looks like he has his own beat there, and the drumloops just help it. This is note for note from the original. Repetitive. Ew on the later effect! Ugh, The resonance just killed my brain. Now Im dead!!! My last breath escapes with a certain, but faltering ..... NO ... and prot is gone..... orkybash
Just a small nitpick, you don't have to say "go to my artist page and look for remix x", you can link directly to the detail page to the track like so: /artist_song/ On to the music... didn't really grab me. Samples are drab, and it's pretty repetative. In fact, the drum filtering is the only thing that really made this interesting at all. NO
