The Pezman Posted March 30, 2008 Author Posted March 30, 2008 Indeed. I hope to hear the rest of the Tyrano Lair arrangement. Quote
dannthr Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 THE TRUMPET was released. It's a fully featured Kontakt instrument with like... 3 variant Bb Trumpets, a Piccolo Trumpet, a German Trumpet, a Cornet, and a FlugelHorn. The demos are pretty damn sick: http://www.samplemodeling.com/en/demos.php And the footprint is tiny. Quote
Steffan Andrews Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 Couple things to watch out for: SampleModeling released a sax that sounds pretty amazing (does not surprise). Wallander is working on releasing a line of saxes. Currently you can test the tenor sax in the trial download. It's in development but will be interesting to see how creating ensembles will sound for big band stuff. Quote
dannthr Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 Keeping this thread up, I see, yeah, Mr. Sax T is out, it sounds pretty darn good. There's also the old school First Call Horns Warp IV's set of instruments has finally released several other instruments, though none are as good sounding as they should be, in my opinion. What makes up for it, though, are the fantastic demos from Vir2 for Mojo their little big-band/funk brass module--real warm and sexy sounds. Quote
prophetik music Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 if you're just looking for sets of licks, ueberschall's liquid instrument packs 'Horn Section', 'Saxophone', and 'Trumpet' are all excellent. and, since it's liquid instruments, you can adjust timing, groove, and notes really easily.
