What happend in those 7 years

Meh, something about arguing what happened during the 7 years or how it was able to happen in such a short time... It just doesn't seem worth it, in fact, it reminds me of when someone asked me how the world would be able to change so dramatically in the world of 1984 between 1948 and 1984. It's really not worth arguing, both stories want us to focus on the idea that the world has changed dramatically, and that either through acting before (Not in the book, but in the real world, as a warning) or after the fact (kil- seal Ganon and live peasantly ever after), we must change this horrible result.

And really, Ganondorf is powerful enough... All he'd really need to do is find a few allies to brainwash or convince, use their power to destroy any relevant threat, and claim dominion through sheer fear and will using his third of the Triforce. Not a problem in 7 years of time. As for Link, he was probably locked in the way he was from the time he pulled his sword until he was old enough, and since his individual intellect wasn't a part of the storyline, I'd assume that the people of a ruined future wouldn't notice a juvenile vocabulary and the like. But if he needed intellect and whatever else he would need, you could cop out and say it was due to the influence of the sage.

And it is weird that hardly any games have black people... Like Final Fantasy, where the only black main party member was Barret, who was stereotypical in too many ways to count.

I think the better question would be: was it all worth it?

Did Ganon really need to go through all that trouble to get into the position he is after those seven years? I would say he was already in a great position from the get go: he was the only male around a tribe consisting of dozens of female warriors!

There wasn't really anything else going on. In fact, he could have had a very good life had he not tried to do whatever he did with the king of Hyrule.

And even when he did conquer Hyrule...what is he gonna do? Sit around his castle playing the organ? Get a life! Go outside, meet people! There's plenty of girls out there man! But noooo, he had to go ahead and put Zelda in a crystal T__T;

If he could learn anything from Bowser, it's that kidnapping a chick never works in your favor.

But maybe it was never about the chicks, maybe he was just jealous of Link...Maybe all the poor lad wanted was to have some Courage (see what I did there? ;) )

So now Hyrule is a wasteland, and all there is left to do is wait for Link to come and kill ya...real smart move Big Ears! Maybe part of him just WANTS to fail each and every time. He's desperate for attention, even negative attention.

He had everything, but he threw it all out the window because of his silly ambitions *tsk tsk tsk*.

Learn from this, children...learn from this

..main thoughts...

Ganon in alot of ways is the epitome of greed and corruption within the series. Sure he had in alot of ways a good life without even bothering the mainlands of Hyrule, but of course that's where greed comes into play. Considering OoT, can't one say each piece of the Trifcrce carries a curse of sort..?

For example, what would be the side effects be affecting Ganon once he was only able to attain Power..? Amplification of passionate emotions and desires; especially greed, yet with the nasty case of constant pain like chronic migraines of ther uber vairety..? If this is so, would it only be for those with evil intentions that would attain so much power equal to the amount of pain that obtainer can stand or even survive..? If this is true as well, would capturing the other two pieces bring relief and salvation from that pain as well as unlimited power..?

This would explain alot as to why, with all that power that ganon wielded, he would still fall to Link. Since Link had Courage, it would nullify Ganon's Power, while the Master Sword tips success in Links Favor... Zelda's inheritance of Widsom double teaming aside Link even more so...

All speculation sadly... but it would explain the constant reincarnations of the Links and zeldas while Ganon is never truly dead or freed and how they are always meeting up one another...
