TheUltimateKoopa Posted December 29, 2007 Posted December 29, 2007 Is it possible for any of you to make a simple "extended mix" of any of these tunes?: Donkey Kong Country Fear Factory Donkey Kong Country 2 Hot-Head Bop Stickerbush Symphony Mining Melancholy Forest Interlude Donkey Kong Country 3 Rockface Rumble Super Mario 64 Super Mario 64 Main Theme (Bob-omb Battlefield etc) Cave Dungeon (Hazy Maze Cave etc) Mario Kart 64 Banshee Boardwalk Toad's Turnpike I don't want you to do them all necessarily, but those are some of the tunes that I like, that I think are just too short, and could be "extended"... kind of like a "12 inch mix"... Preferably, I'd like any ones that you do decide to "extend", to be extended by at least 1 minute... you could even make a 5+ minute extended mix of what's normally a less than 2 minute tune, if that's possible I did have a go at extending "Hot-Head Hop", it's just a simple extended intro.... about 30 seconds of extra intro, before the actual tune starts, that's all... and also, I extended "Flat Zone" from Super Smash Bros Melee If none of the above is possible, then, just some enchanced remixes of the above... like keeping the same tune, bassline, and drumbeats, etc, but make it slightly more modern, like the Super Mario Bros 3 Athletic theme on the NES/SNES vs Super Mario Galaxy's "Bonus Stage" theme.... Liontamer Posted December 30, 2007 Posted December 30, 2007 For any of those, SNES or N64, you could have them loop for a long time on Winamp with the appropriate video game music format plug-in, then output a WAV or MP3 file and make an extended version that way. Quote
TheUltimateKoopa Posted December 30, 2007 Author Posted December 30, 2007 I don't mean like just looping the song twice instead of once, I mean like having an extended intro, and/or extended ending or "outro", and maybe some extended parts in the middle Quote
TheUltimateKoopa Posted January 1, 2008 Author Posted January 1, 2008 As I said before, just some enchanced versions of the above will be OK... like keeping the same tune, bassline, and drumbeats, etc, but make it slightly more modern, like the Super Mario Bros 3 Athletic theme on the NES/SNES vs Super Mario Galaxy's "Bonus Stage" theme.... TheUltimateKoopa Posted February 8, 2008 Author Posted February 8, 2008 So, I gets ignored (again) Um... anyway, can someone do a simple "enhanced mix" of ANY of the following: Donkey Kong Country Fear Factory Donkey Kong Country 2 Hot-Head Bop Stickerbush Symphony Mining Melancholy Forest Interlude Donkey Kong Country 3 Rockface Rumble Super Mario 64 Super Mario 64 Main Theme (Bob-omb Battlefield etc) Cave Dungeon (Hazy Maze Cave etc) Mario Kart 64 Banshee Boardwalk Toad's Turnpike By enhanced, I mean the exact same tune, drums, etc, but simply with a different sound. (Like, as I said, how the NES music of SMB was "enchanced" in SMAS for the SNES, and there's also an "enhanced" version of a SMB3 tune in Super Mario Galaxy, that's what I mean by "enhanced"). Quote
Bundeslang Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 I think he wants to make the original songs a bit longer, by adding a brand new part to it. It's like if a song is this. CCABAIEGHVOIRWBVIHRWBHRWBPORWHB He wants to see CCABAIEGHVOIRWBVIHRWBHRWBPORWHBIEHLKWVHEWHVW and not CCABAIEGHVOIRWBVIHRWBHRWBPORWHBCCABAIEGHVOIRWBVIHRWBHRWBPORWHB Sorry for the weird explaination, hope you understand. Yes, that's exactly what I mean. But, as I said, if you can't do that, then, can you kind "enhance" or "modernise" them? You know like ... well, I've explained it, so you should know what I mean.
