  1. Alright, so... here's the thing. I think I might have found one of my new favorite remixers on this site. I've been a fan of The Megas since I was first blown away by The Annihilation of Monsteropolis (and holy crap, the Air Man puns just started rolling there. Not intended, rofl). This one is just amazing to me, though. I absolutely dig the western feel and the whole "quick-draw" battle that's happening all through the tune. You guys never cease to amaze me. Keep up the excellent work. I look forward to your next mixes.
  2. A shout out to The wingless: For a long time you've been one of my favorite ReMixers on this site. You have always been at the top of your game, my friend. Hearing this was just what I needed today. Completely moving. Completely epic. I can't wait to fire up my catalog of your other tracks that I have on my computer and can't wait to see another post of yours soon.
  3. Wow, I find it hard to say ANYTHING about this track. It's just... Amazing. Great work! I'm going to have to check out your other works. If they're on par with this one, I'm going to have a new favorite ReMixer.
  4. This is a very awesome song, and it's saying something seeing as how I've not posted something in a very long time from the different downloads that I've gotten from this site. At points in time -and I'm not sure why- it is very Sonata Arctica-esque. Good use of power chords and the organ is wicked. I haven't checked out many of Sixto's mixes before, but now I know I'm going to have to. Keep up the excellent work, man.
  5. I'd love to see (or hear as the case may be) some Mega Man 9 mixes on here. I'm fairly sure we've got someone working on one somewhere, but... There's plenty of cannon-fodder in that game for you guys to work with. =D Hope to hear something from you guys, soon.
  6. It was good. Not my favorite by you, po!, but I like it. A couple of parts are pretty smooth, and as always your work is very unique. You're in a class all your own. But, so far, Nothing is going to top your (Mega Man 3: crystal potion) mix in my books. Not for a while.
  7. Words fail me as I am left awed by this piece. I wouldn't really know how to compliment these two brilliant composers had they done this anymore perfect... Ever since the first time I listened to a zircon mix, I was thoroughly impressed with the ability that they demonstrated (The remix was the Chrono Trigger - Calamitous Judgement). I must admit, that when it comes down to it, I would rather have nobody do a Chrono Trigger remix for me, other than zircon. Keep up the excellent work! You're incredible and you do the game the justice that it deserves. And now... for Unknown... I love Unknown's arrangements. The first mix/arrangement that I heard by this composer was Zelda: The Windwaker - Pirates of Dragon Roost Isle. The smooth, hypnotic melody was just so relaxing and easy to get along with. I must admit however, I hadn't really listened to any of their other mixes/arrangements and thus, I was a bit skeptical about seeing Unknown do a CT mix. However, my skepticism was justly proven wrong as this song flows magnificently like all of the others I've heard now... Then, I saw both of the names coming together under the Chrono Trigger section and I couldn't resist myself... As soon as I saw it all I could say was "This is going to be wicked..." I clicked the links and was already overtaken by the smooth arrngement of Unknown... then, zircon kicked in with the bass and synths and I couldn't resist closing my eyes, nodding my head and laughing out the words, "HELL YEAH!" This has got to be one of, if not my favorite of all the other remixes that I've heard on this site. Give it up to Unknown and zircon for bringing their talents together and forming a masterpiece!
  8. well... it's a damn good song! What can I say? It's really interesting to me though, for some odd reason, I can't help but feel like a little bit of Mega Man II was taken out and placed as a backbeat... You know? That one level of Dr. Wily's castle in number two where you had to go through the rusted water and kill the fish with Quick Boomerang and not to mention the boss... But... hell, I don't know. It just seems so damn familiar to me. Sure, you can easily hear the Metroid in it, but, it really feels like there's something extra. In any case, as I said before, damn good song. Keep it up!
  9. I see absolutely nothing wrong with it... I just got lost in the music, which is what I feel you were going for. This piece is nothing short of a masterpiece. I never would have expected lyrics, but their usage added a beautiful, but well-needed twist on the original song. I would hope to hear another from you sometime soon, possibly a Kakara Village? Something along those lines would be nice to hear from you...
  10. Breathless... that's the one word that I must say that this remix has left me... It's nowhere near what I was expecting with a Ganon song, but... dear God, the music is as free-flowing as the rivers of time themselves... It's just a smooth, beautiful transition that moves through the very essence of my soul... by all means, keep up the excellent work...
  11. The song is quite mellow and allows you to relax and just nod your head with the music. The harmonious guitars and claps just draw you further into the music. There's even an unexpected cameo by child Link, and a few of his battle cries, which I find are an excellent addition to the piece. Keep up the good work. I hope to hear something from you in the future. As for now, I'll just keep absorbing this into my mind...
  12. I think that Scott outdid himself with this one. I've listened to a few of his remixes and they were good. But this one... this one gave me goosebumps. Congratulations man! At first when I started it up, the song was... totally Gameboy. I didn't see any real difference from the original and I was really disappointed, but, I should know by now not to ever judge something by the first however many seconds, or however many paragraphs, or however many verses... As soon as the piano came in, I started feeling a little bit better about the song. But... at 00:01:04, I think that my jaw must have broken through the Earth's crust, mantle, and core, shot through the other side and knocked out some poor guy in China. You used an impressive drop there man... I never would have expected something like that, slow, and mediocre, like just about any dungeon music from any Zelda game, to turn Drum and Bass... Congratulations on a FLAWLESS transition. I hope to hear something more from you in the future along these lines (possibly a remix of the original Zelda's dungeon music?). I bow to you tonight, Scott. Keep up the excellent work, man. (List of expressions during the song...) ------------- 00:00:01 - 00:00:41 (wow... this is... yeah... ahem...) 00:00:42 - 00:01:03 (that's nice...!) 00:01:04 - 00:03:40 (HOLY CHRIST!!! ROCK ON DUDE!) ------------- (end list)
