Oh my god... I'm really feeling this song! Everything is just perfect. Absolutely everything. I'm a sucker for Orchestral arrangements, but this takes the cake as best song I've heard in the passed year. You Sir, are amazing, and I hope to see a lot more of you and your remixes in the near future. You really bring out the color of this melody. The chords you had play trigger many a memory. At the end I wish there was even more, but perhaps I'll just have to wait and see what you have in store.

Just stumbled upon this today. I've been a long-standing Sixto fan. It was he who introduced me and my Bro to OC to begin with. Or more so following a lead on his music ended us up here. Anyway, I love it. And I'm upset I didn't find it sooner. Years later this is still amazing.

Yow! This is amazing! Absolutely love it. I'm a huge critic on most things, esp. music. I can find improvements to be made in anything. Or I would have said until I listened to this track. Nothing I hear shows any signs of needing improvement at all. The length is just perfect, each sound in the piece fits perfectly with the rest, even complimenting each other continuously throughout the track. It caught my attention at the very start and ended too, with my attention caught. It had me slowly bobbing my head and tapping my food with a goofy smile on my face. Excellent work. 5/5. While my earlier posted Onimusha 4: DoD request was my favorite VGM soundtrack, Tales of Vesperia is easily my favorite game of recent years, as well as a close second on my personal soundtrack rankings. I played this game through TWICE when I first got it. It's music ensnared me before even the game itself did. Less than 6 months later, I played through and beat the game again and it was just as fun as the first two times. I even started a FOURTH game before I lent it to a friend. Anyway, below I'll have a rather large list of requests from this game's soundtrack. It seems like a bit much until you consider the game's OST has a whopping 115 tracks! To make this request even better, the composer for all the music is Motoi Sakuraba, the man who composed the music for the Star Ocean and Valkyrie Profile games. Also, as for Genres of each remix. I'll leave that up to the remixer, because I have no preference. One of the "ancients" which are basically scholarly elves who've forsaken war and live in the sky, because they've "learned their lessons" after almost destroying the world at LEAST once. Ha, but not Judith. She's a lancer, and the only of her race known to still fight. She also has not secluded herself like the rest of her race, however, she has secluded herself FROM the rest of her race and has yet to bother mingling with humans, thus the title. She still retains her ladylike manner, while being quite a vicious warrior. Not to mention she has sarcasm that matches even the main character, Yuri Lowell. And yet it feels as complete as it's meant to be. I'm adding this to my request list because I feel it's so simple and ambient, it would be difficult to remix. After a certain point, some characters (usually enemies) from earlier Tales games are thrown into battle with your character and you get to fight them. Included is the end boss of the ever-loved Tales of Phantasia, first game in the series. Near the end of the game is when this one plays, when all that's left is to confront the main enemy of the game...and a potential ally who is currently working on his own agenda... Like the world map theme, the battle theme changes every so often in the game, and I'm pretty sure this comes in about midway through. Catchy, has a flute-like instrument, an obvious and easy-to-catch theme, and a consistent beat. The main character and a childhood friend have an actual factual duel. A sort of rivalry between the two is solved here, finally, after being hinted toward since very early in the game. In fact, it was first brought up within the first minute of play. While good, this song feels a tad incomplete. There's too many "empty areas" in it in my opinion, and it feels a little too rigid. I thought OCRemix would be the right place to find a solution to that. This song is my original reason for even posting here today. It's based around a song that was made around the same time, but not for, the game by an up and coming Japanese singer. Apparently, she used ToV as a debut for her new album, and because of that her album sold a ridiculous number of copies. Onimusha 4: DoD has long had my favorite video game soundtrack of all time. I'm pretty big on VGM, so me being able to honestly say that means a lot coming from me. I remember first getting the soundtrack and listening to it for hours on loop and shuffle, multiple days in a row. Anyway, I'd like to request three remixes from the OST for this game. I listened to the album and figured these would have the best outcome as far as remixes go. Please check them out and consider them. Any genre of remix for these is fine in my book. However, I'd prefer something NOT soft, something still along the lines with the sources with theme and emotional feel. For example if the song is dark, I'd ask for a somewhat dark remix. Still, I'd be happy just to see these remixed. Genma Capital - http://www.mediafire.com/?4e9is67fkpyjnyx If my memory serves, this is the theme of the last dungeon in the game. Japan's current capital, at the time swarming with Genma who are attempting to resurrect their god. Fushimi Castle - http://www.mediafire.com/?oxp3fg8929xqkih Don't remember the story of the area where this plays, but this is easily one of the best dungeon themes in the game. Simply put, I've taken a liking to it.

This track is astoundingly good. Haven't heard the source, haven't played the game, but this track is just excellent. Keep up the good work.

Love it, plain and simple. I'm a huge fan of the Lufia series. I even sat through the bad graphics of the Gameboy Color's Lufia 3, and the horrible fail that was Lufia 4: Ruins of Lore just for my love of the first two games. So I'm ALWAYS happy to see more remixes from this series. Always. This remix in particular grabs my interest. It's not so mellow that it's background music, but it's not so heavy that it gives you an adrenaline rush just by listening. Personally, that sort of mid-way on a very emotional source works perfectly. As for those who have not played the Lufia games, try them. You'll never regret it. They are easily the best of the best RPGs for the Super Nintendo. Arguably better though less popular than the ever-loved Chrono Trigger. Lufia 1 and 2 are for the SNES, so I'd at least try those. Also, if you're new to the series, as odd as this may sound, play Lufia 2 first, because it's a prequel to Lufia 1 and makes more sense that way o.O Anyway, amazing mix. Personally, I like it a lot. Not like the average song in my collection, but I'm a sucker for softer Piano and Guitar songs. On another note, I'd love to see more music from Pot Hocket, AND more for this game. Pot Hicket's Remixes so far have a good feel to them, and this game has an amazing soundtrack. Some really heartfelt music as a whole.

I love it! Not much I can add more than that. Everything else has been touched on. It's quite simply good.

I hate rap and related musics. However, I still found the "flow" of this song caught me. I'm the kind of guy who can ignore the words while still hearing them. I can hear the sounds of the words, the part that makes lyrics good if you ignore their meaning, while still not trying to understand what the words mean. I couldn't tell you most of what was sang here, I just don't remember. Anyway, despite all the problems with lyrics I keep hearing about, the tune and flow of the song was catchy enough to make a guy who hates the genre of music it's in hum along with it. That says something right there.
